Arthritis is a condition caused by the deterioration of the fluid filled sacs that cushion the bones. While there is no cure for arthritis, there are several medications and alternative therapies available to help alleviate the pain, one of which is I use is magnetic therapy products.
Magnetic therapy is a type of pain relief therapy that focuses on the theory that our bodies create an electro-magnetic field that should respond to magnets. Since the blood that runs through our bodies contains approximately four percent iron, our cells produce electrical impulses that create a specific magnetic field. This electrical magnetic field should respond to magnetic therapy, therefore alleviating pain and releasing our body’s own unique healing powers.
There are quite a few magnetic therapy products on the market today that I have tried and have helped my arthritic pain.
Bracelets, anklets, necklaces, wrist bands, rings, and even earrings are all available with special magnets to help relieve chronic arthritis pain in the wrists, hands, arms, elbows, shoulders and knees. They are readily available in finishes of stainless steel, copper, and surgical steel. The item I tend to wear more than any other is a magnetic therapy bracelet.
Magnetic wraps and support braces are also available to help deliver magnetic therapy to larger parts of the body such as elbows, knees and back. These support braces and wraps improve circulation and help relieve arthritic pain. They have actually done wonders for my elbows.
There are a myriad of other magnetic therapy products on the market as well. Magnetic mattress pad and pillow pads can bring relief to the entire body during rest and sleep periods. Magnetic insoles can help with pain in the feet, ankles and knees. And magnetic cushions can be placed under any part of the body that is aching.
Magnetic therapy products are a non-invasive and safe way of integrating magnetic fields into the body for therapeutic purposes. With the many products available on the market today, there is surely something for everyone who suffers from the aches and pains of arthritis.
