Arthritic symptoms such as joint pain can be almost unbearable at times to some people. I know it can for me. The joint pain is caused by inflammation of the fluid filled sacs between the pad and bony parts of the body, which let muscles and tendons move freely over the bone.
Unfortunately, to some, it seems that there isn’t much that can be done about the pain of arthritis, but there are some natural arthritis remedies that I would like to share that have helped with my arthritis pain.
- Massaging the affected area with warmed olive oil should provide temporary relief from the pain associated with the inflammation of the joints. If you don’t have olive oil, almond, flax or even vegetable oil can help.
- Taking a half teaspoon or so of turmeric powder mixed with a bit of warm water three times per day is also an effective temporary remedy for joint pain.
- Mixing two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with 2 teaspoons honey in a glass of warm water can bring almost instant relief to the joints.
- Drinking fresh carrot juice mixed with equal parts of lemon juice has shown to be one of the best ways to relieve joint pain.
Of course, taking daily doses of omega 3’s and cod liver oil can help keep joint flair ups at bay, but should these flair ups arise, there are plenty of things you can do to help your arthritis pain.
